4- Inoculation Sticks These reusable bottles are commonly used around the world for the cultivation of numerous species of mushrooms. They are a good alternative to the endless use of disposable grow bags and many fungi fanatics are finding alternative uses for these jars. For instance, they can be used to make a great starter kit or mushroom grow kit for DIY mycology projects or for your customers who want to grow their own.  The breathable lids are the tried and true standard of the industry. They are designed to allow exactly the correct amount of filtered air into the bottle for optimal growth of the mycelium.  The inoculation sticks are used by some growers. They are inserted into the center of the bottle after it is filled with substrate and prior to sterilization or pasteurization. When it is time to inoculate the substrate the inoculation sticks are removed and replaced with the inoculum which is sometimes a form of liquid mycelium or mycelium grain. This allows for deep and even distribution of the mycelium growth and prevents the need for shaking the bottles.  Product Description:
